Job Description:

We are inviting experienced and driven Field Instrumentation Technical Sales Engineers to join our team and play a pivotal role in our growth journey. As a Field Instrumentation Technical Sales Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in instrumentation solutions to drive sales of our wide range of field instruments and sensors for industrial applications. You'll be responsible for understanding customer requirements, offering technical solutions, and building strong relationships to achieve successful sales outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity Generation : Identify and create new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting, cold-calling, networking and collaboration.
  • Customer Visits : Conduct regular site visits to better understand customer environments, address inquiries, and provide on-site technical support.
  • Product Expertise : Develop an in-depth understanding of our field instrumentation product portfolio, including Pressure, Temperature, Level and flow Transmitter and gauges and more.
  • Customer Engagement : Collaborate with potential and existing clients to identify their specific measurement and sensing needs and provide tailored instrumentation solutions.
  • Technical Consultation : Offer technical guidance and advice to customers, demonstrating how our field instruments can address their unique challenges and requirements.
  • Product Presentations : Conduct engaging product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the value and functionality of our field instrumentation solutions.
  • Proposal Creation : Create compelling and customized sales proposals that align with customer needs and highlight the benefits of our products.
  • Solution Selling : Utilize your technical powers to position our field instruments as solutions that enhance processes, optimize efficiency and improve industrial operations.
  • Relationship Building : Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research : Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market demands to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Goals : Set and achieve sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the company.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and engineering, to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product improvement.
  • Follow-up : Maintain ongoing communication with clients, offering post-sale support, troubleshooting and continuous engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferable in Instrumentation and control or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in technical sales with focus on field instrumentation products and solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Result-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in field instrumentation technologies, such as Pressure Transmitter, Temperature Transmitter, Flow meters, Flow Transmitter, Level transmitter, Control Valves, Pressure Gauge, Level Gauges, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to a fast-paved and evolving environment.

 

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
